Kensington is based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, west of London.

It is bordered by the neighbourhoods of Notting Hill, Earl’s Court, Fulham, and Chelsea. The nearest tube station is Kensington (Olympia), which is served by the District and Circle lines.

 

Is Kensington In Central London?

Kensington is not technically in central London, as it is located west of the city.

However, it is just a short journey from central London by tube or bus, so getting to the centre from Kensington is easy.

The nearest tube station to Kensington is Kensington (Olympia), which is served by the District and Circle lines. The station is located on High Street, just a short walk from Kensington Palace and Hyde Park.
