Where Is Kensington In London?

Kensington is based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, west of London.

It is bordered by the neighbourhoods of Notting Hill, Earl’s Court, Fulham, and Chelsea. The nearest tube station is Kensington (Olympia), which is served by the District and Circle lines.

 

Is Kensington In Central London?

Kensington is not technically in central London, as it is located west of the city.

However, it is just a short journey from central London by tube or bus, so getting to the centre from Kensington is easy.

There are multiple things to do in Kensington, whether you’re a local or a visitor.

How To Get To Kensington

The nearest tube station to Kensington is Kensington (Olympia), which is served by the District and Circle lines. The station is located on High Street, just a short walk from Kensington Palace and Hyde Park.

Alternatively, you can take the bus or cycle to Kensington. If you’re coming from central London, it is just a short journey on the tube, bus, or cycle.

If you’re driving, there are plenty of parking options available in Kensington.
