The Java Whiskers cat cafe is as much of a social movement as an animal haven — with a mission to rescue homeless kitties and make a forever home for them. You feel totally at home there as you can relax with freshly brewed coffee next to a purring kitty.

Real and intimate, having a coffee or an afternoon tea at Java will leave you all the great feelings, so don’t miss it! While visiting the cafe, dont pass up the opportunity to explore cool things to do in Mayfair nearby.

Lady Dinahs Cat Emporium

As you can guess from its name, Lady Dinah is a cat emporium that meets Instagram dreams! Opening in 2014, Lady Dinah’s cat cafe has no signs of going back. This East London cat house offers a slight “Alice in Wonderland” feeling as it is placed across two-story with views of Bethnal Green Road.

This is a perfect place to enjoy a full-service afternoon tea and play with your cats and a cuppa for 90 minutes whilst simply watching Bethnal Green Road from the window. You’ll have to pay a minimum charge of £15 — minus food and drinks which is similar to Whiskers and Creams.

Keep in mind that you’re not allowed to pick up the cats here, however that’s not to say you can’t give them a good stroke. Lady Dinah’s cat emporium is one of the most popular and best cat cafes in London. So, I’d highly suggest a visit and booking in advance.

The place also puts you super close to Beigel Bake and the rest of Shoreditch where you’ve got plenty to do after your feline day.

Opening Hours: 12 pm-7 pm every day (except Wednesday)

Address: 152-154 Bethnal Green Road, London, E2 6DG

La Maison du Chat

La Maison du Chat is absolutely the official home of cats! Located in a cute Pimlico coffee shop, this great place is by far one of the cosiest and best cat cafes in London. What I love about La Maison du Chat is its French name and accent alongside the best afternoon tea ever. I mean who doesn’t love putting on a French accent?

Another great thing about La Maison Du Chat is the fact that it’s quite small. Thus, the cute furry friends would come to you and you can have some good old cuddles. What more? They even offer a ‘yoga with cats’ class – believe it or not, it will be one of your greatest experiences if you’re a cat lover like me.

Don’t hesitate and head down there if you fancy a good stretch whilst having the extra cuteness of cats purring around your head and feet as you pose.

Opening Hours: 9 am- 6 pm from Wednesday to Sunday

Address: 55 Moreton St, Pimlico, SW1V 2NY

Whiskers & Cream

A dreamy place where luxury afternoon tea and cack joined fancy cats and cosy environment?! Here it is. Welcome to Whiskers and Creams!

Whiskers and Creams café is located on Holloway Road in the heart of North London and offers yummy pastries and cakes — with vegan and vegetarian options available. You can enjoy your warm cup of coffee while being in cat heaven. When you’re ready to cuddle a cute crafty kitten, you’ll be asked to sanitize your hands, given a short introduction to your new furry friend, and you’re on your way to enjoying every moment.

You can expect to pay at least £10 for your visit as running a cat cafe is much more expensive in comparison with an average London coffee shop. The amount of money directly helps with the cat’s well-being including food and vet visits.

The usual visit time is 90 minutes and rates tend to come in different packages. For example, with the basic package, you’ll pay £11 — minus food and drinks. Also, if you want to extend your visit time, you can expect to pay £3.50 for an extra 30 minutes.

All in all, a visit to Whiskers and Cream will leave you well-acquainted with their little family of cats and maybe a bit sad to leave!

Opening hours: Open 10 am-5 pm on weekdays (except for Wednesday), 10 am-5:30 pm on weekends

Address: 593 Holloway Road, Archway, London N19 4DJ

Nearest Station: Upper Holloway Rail Station
