I had been eyeing up Savoy Cafe & Kitchen for a good few weeks now and every time I had been in Shoreditch it was a little busy and I couldn’t be bothered to wait for a table.
But just before the Christmas holidays my husband and I had a little more time and starting having Friday breakfast at many of our local, and not-so-local breakfast spots. One of those Fridays before Christmas on a quiet morning found at Savoy Cafe & Kitchen.
Let that be a lesson for all those keen to eat here, for a more relaxed experience, best to go during the weekdays as the weekends are fairly busy. I hate feeling like I have to rush to eat in order to give the table back. Hence the weekdays as sometimes the best time to visit, particularly for a place in demand like Savoy Cafe & Kitchen.
This is among many amazing cafes in Shoreditch you simple cannot miss out on.

The Food At Savoy Cafe & Kitchen
If you are looking for a place for breakfast or brunch in Shoreditch you cannot go wrong with this place. The menu at Savoy Cafe & Kitchen is diverse and delicious with a slight Middle-East take on some of the items but there is something to suit every taste and preference. In the morning, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, and avocado on toast, or opt for something lighter like a fresh smoothie or a bowl of oatmeal. For lunch and dinner, the cafe offers a range of sandwiches, salads, and main dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
In addition to their food offerings, Savoy Cafe & Kitchen also has a great selection of drinks, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
Both my husband and I had the Shakshouka, freshly baked bread, and washed it down with a turmeric latte. I am very new to these flavoured lattes and rather enjoyed the turmeric latte than the matcha latte that I recently tried for the first time at Where The Pancakes Are at Flat Iron food court.
The food was absolutely delicious as you can see by the wipe-down pans. Be sure to leave some bread so you can wipe down the sauce from the Shakshouka. The service was perfect and would happily return again and again to sample the other items on the menu.
Overall, Savoy Cafe & Kitchen is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for delicious food and a stylish atmosphere in Shoreditch. Whether you’re in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this popular cafe has something for everyone. So next time you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and see what all the fuss is about.
