L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele

In the center of Naples began the production of pizza produced by the Condurro family. Salvatore’s son, Michele Condurro understood the family art of preparing pizza, which he amassed from the legendary Torre Annunziata masters.

They were specialists in the kneading and preparation of pizza dough and cooking of pizza.

In 1906, Michele established his first pizzeria in the new location of Ascalesi Hospital, which needed the pizzeria established in a new location because of construction.

The pizzeria then got relocated in 1930 to its recent home on Via Cesare Sersale which is “the sacred temple of pizza” by journalists and specialists. After this, 5 generations have very well carried out the Pizza journey.
